The University of RAM is designed as a dynamic database that empowers employees to take control of their learning journey. Employees can set personalized learning and career development objectives, and identify courses tailored to their individual needs. The platform also offers a robust system for managing career trajectories, enabling employees to create personal learning plans, enroll in designated learning paths, and track their progress with ease. A key feature of the University of RAM is its collaborative approach to learning, which encourages employees to deepen their understanding of RAM’s processes and industry insights. Through interactive courses and resources, participants gain valuable knowledge that can be applied directly to their roles within the company.

U of RAM includes a diverse range of courses including:

1. Next Gen Program: This unique opportunity is designed to empower employees with the essential self management and interpersonal skills to complement their technical expertise and drive success. The core curriculum consists of eight sessions including Goal Setting and Prioritization, Difficult Conversations, and Power of Mindset. “Next Gen has been a terrific experience that has brought new ideas, tools, and ways of thinking to incorporate into my career and personal life” says Mike Cecchini, RAM’s Construction Manager.

2. RAM 101: Learn about RAM’s history from the beginning. RAM 101 provides insights into the company’s origins, rapid expansion, and the reasons behind its consistent recognition as one of Canada’s top-growing companies for six consecutive years. This course offers an in-depth exploration of RAM’s various departments, divisions, general processes, and technologies.

3. Business Development: Geared towards enhancing employees’ understanding of the proposal processes, this course provides insights into effective proposal writing and team collaboration. Participants learn to navigate the intricacies of project bidding and contribute efficiently to proposal teams.
