What Our Team Members Say
When I relocated to Saskatoon, having the opportunity to continue working for RAM was a huge relief. Additionally, I am very grateful that I can visit my family abroad and still be able to work remotely from wherever I am.
RAM's managers and leads are always open to feedback to how to improve the work culture and project work. The company's values are rooted in creating a fun, safe and innovative place to work for its team members.
RAM's office allows for easy access to transit. Not having to rely on a car is key in Vancouver with so many people living in apartments with limited or no access to parking. Having remote work as an option is great for work-life balance and general flexibility. Being able to stay home and dart out for an appointment or run laundry is great especially for young families.
I've seen that RAM is committed to fostering professional growth and encouraging its members to seek out learning opportunities. I'm impressed by the continuation education program, mentorship opportunities, and the performance feedback/development plans. This company understands that it can thrive if its members continuously expands their skills and knowledge in reaching their full potential.
Something I have noticed is that RAM is very open to pushing people into roles that they ask to be apart of. I've asked to be a part of a certain project/do different roles and later on I am getting exposure to those role and responsibilities.
This company has a lot of committees which allows employees to participate and collaborate on ideas to improve performance and culture of RAM and enhancing the quality of life in the workplace.
We are dedicated to equity, diversity, and inclusion
Supporting an inclusive and diverse workplace that recognizes and values our differences. We recognize that our team's diversity contributes to building a stronger workforce and a better company.
We are committed to increasing the representation of women in engineering and technical roles, to create a more diverse and inclusive workplace. RAM actively participates in and partners with professional associations and school programs to support and promote initiatives that encourage the retention of women in the engineering profession.
RAM supports Engineers Canada’s 30 by 30 goal in raising the percentage of licensed female engineers to 30 percent by the year 2030. As of June 2024, we are proud to note that 33% of RAM’s technical staff are women.
