RAM’s Principal, Joe Di Placito, Elected as Board Member for ACEC-BC

Congratulations to RAM’s Principal, Joe Di Placito, P.Eng/, PMP, for being elected as a board member for the Association of Consulting Engineering Companies BC! 

Joe is a Principal and Co-founder with RAM. Joe graduated from the University of British Columbia with a degree in Civil Engineering. Joe is a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) and a Project Management Professional (PMP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI). Joe has led RAM to be named by Canadian Business as one of Canada’s Fastest Growing Companies for two consecutive years.

He has worked with public and private project owners on traditional and design-build undertakings throughout Western Canada and internationally. Joe has extensive experience leading complex multi-discipline projects from design to construction. Successful notable project experience include TransLink’s Canada Line, South Fraser Perimeter Road (Highway 17), and FortisBC’s Lower Mainland Intermediate System Upgrade Project. Joe has practiced in many sectors including utilities, transportation, marine, oil and gas, and infrastructure.

Joe enjoys being active in the engineering and construction industry and is a member of the British Columbia Construction Roundtable (BCCR) and volunteers as a Member-in-Training Competency Assessor with Engineers and Geoscientist BC (EGBC) and Women in Infrastructure (WIN).
