  • Carrying out a subsurface site investigation comprised of auger drilling, dynamic cone penetration test (DCPT) soundings and failing head permeability tests;
  • Providing hydraulic conductivity and seepage estimates to support storm water management design, including an infiltration gallery at the east side of the site;
  • Designing a tied back shotcrete shoring system to support temporary excavation cuts;
  • Groundwater assessment and modelling;
  • Providing excavation shoring design;
  • Conducting ongoing construction field reviews.

Project Highlights

Origin has been the recipient of international praise and multiple awards, including the 2013: Ovation Awards – Fortis BC Award for Excellence in Energy Efficiency in New Construction (Multi-Family Home), and Best Multi-Family Low-Rise Development.
