Monique Lal, P.Eng., PMP promoted to Director of Project Delivery at RAM

Leader, mentor, and project management powerhouse, Monique Lal, P.Eng., PMP, has been promoted from Manager of Project Management to Director of Project Delivery at RAM Consulting.

With a wealth of knowledge, strong drive, and undeniable passion for her career, Monique’s ability to bring a team together and lead projects of any size to success makes her a force to be reckoned with. She is the winner of the Emerging Leader Award at the 8th Annual WIN Awards, a category which recognizes an exceptional woman who has distinguished herself early in her career in the infrastructure sector and has demonstrated a pattern of leadership.

“My constant curiosity and passion for learning how things work were the natural building blocks that led me to start my career as a mechanical design engineer.” Monique reflected. “I have worked in a variety of industries including pulp and paper, thermal power, hydro power, and mining. I have a strong background in construction and contract management as well as stakeholder engagement. I am currently leading a program that requires extensive consultation and engagement with First Nations across the province, as well as federal, provincial, and municipal governments, regulatory agencies, and the public.”

Monique is recognized for strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. On a technical level, she has a proven track record of effective scope, schedule, budget and resource management on key projects and studies. Time and time again, she has demonstrated an ability to develop relationships to foster motivated teams focused on high quality results.

“We’re excited to have Monique bring her breadth of experience and knowledge as Director of Project Delivery for RAM while leveraging her business acumen.” Says Joe Di Placito, President of RAM. “Her promotion builds on her success growing our Project Management department.”
