A new group of cyclists have emerged from RAM known as the RAM Riders. RAM Riders consist of a dedicated group of cycling enthusiasts who meet up after work and on the weekends to ride. The mission of the organization is to promote a healthy lifestyle outside of work.
“Biking is a passion of many RAM employees,” said one of the members. “The group initially began when one of the employees suggested to ride together after work. Then it became more serious as we began ordering proper cycling jerseys.”
RAM Riders meet up every Wednesday after work at 6PM. The group usually bikes around Stanley Park then to UBC. The route takes around 2 hours.
So who can become a RAM Rider? “Anyone! As long as they own a helmet and road bike.”
