Project Description
In order to facilitate the construction of the Highway 99 and Highway 17 interchange, the existing BC Hydro 69kV transmission lines needed to be relocated. The scope of the project included the installation of 30m transmission structures, and required a highway closure for installing and removing the overhead lines.
Our Role
RAM was retained by the joint venture FTG Constructors, comprising of Ledcor, Dragados, BelPacific, and Vancouver Pile Driving. This $700 Million P-3 project was a design, build, operate, finance and maintain endeavour. RAM provided project management services for construction and technical design review for all third party utilities.
Our staff was integrated into the joint venture team and directly managed approximately $230 Million of construction scope.
