Project Description

Gateway Residences Park Royal is a mixed-use development in West Vancouver comprising two concrete towers, 12 to 14 stories in height and founded over a 3 – level underground parkade. RAM’s geotechnical team was involved in design of temporary support for an 11-metre-deep temporary excavation in high groundwater conditions. To maintain excavation stability and mitigate groundwater seepage, RAM’s geotechnical team developed a temporary cut-off structure design comprising tied back shotcrete shoring and 440 jet grout columns measuring 1 metre diameter and up to 17 metres in length.
