Project Description
RAM is providing Geotechnical Engineering services for the Freedom Mobile Arch in Hastings Park, as well as the proposed PNE water main and sanitary sewer upgrades to support the new Freedom Mobile Arch development. The proposed development includes a canopy roof supported by a steel and wood truss structure founded on three buttresses with piles, with a facility building on the northwest side of the proposed structure founded on a basement level and other structural features (such as a VIP deck, stage, retaining walls, etc).
RAM’s Role
RAM is responsible for the following, but not limited to:
- Coordinate and supervise subsurface investigations, which comprise 23 auger and sonic holes
- Perform permeability testing of soil
- Monitor groundwater
- Prepare Geotechnical Investigation Reports which include results of subsurface investigations and construction recommendations with regards to excavation, piles, foundations, etc…
- Prepare Excavation / Shoring and Erosion and Sediment (ESC) Control Plan Drawings
- Conduct field reviews during construction
