Project Description

RAM’s inspectors worked on behalf of Metro Vancouver to provide Inspection and Quality Assurance for the upgrading of the Sasamat Reservoir. The project was located at the Sasamat Reservoir in Pacific Spirit Park on 16th Avenue. The project included concrete repairs, replacing of sealant, and seismic upgrading of the reservoir. RAM’s inspector provided Inspection Services such as documentation, progress reporting, facilitating the completion of scope, and monitoring adherence to proper work procedures. Additionally, RAM’s inspector provided Quality Assurance services such as the approving and monitoring of tests and specifications for concrete strength, sealant application conditions and procedures, and concrete crack repairs.

RAM’s Role

RAM’s inspector was responsible for performing on-site inspection and quality assurance for the following scope of work:

• Concrete slab repair
• Removal of bituminous material
• Roof concrete crack repairs
• Installation of new joint sealant
