Project Description

Gateway Residences Park Royal is a mixed-use development in West Vancouver consisting of two fourteen-storey concrete towers founded above a three-level underground parkade. Its location, placing the towers adjacent to both robust natural attractions and the urban hub of Park Royal mall, make it a desired place of residence.

Our Role

RAM’s geotechnical team was involved in design of temporary support for an 11-metre-deep temporary excavation in high groundwater conditions. To maintain excavation stability and mitigate groundwater seepage, RAM’s geotechnical team developed a temporary cut-off structure design comprising tied back shotcrete shoring and 440 jet grout columns measuring one metre in diameter and up to seventeen metres in length.
