Project Description

FortisBC operates and maintains nine hydroelectric power facilities in the Kootenay River, Columbia River, and Pend d’Oreille River with a total generation capacity of 1,547MW.

RAM’s Role

RAM is supporting FortisBC’s Generation Engineering Group on the development of power, control, and instrumentation projects. Our scope includes:

• Definition of Scope of Work and battery limits of capital and sustainment projects.
• Elaborate estimate according to AACE Cost Estimate Classification System.
• Elaborate Issue for Construction package.
• Elaboration and review of Request for Proposal documents.
• Coordination of the elaboration of Class Estimate with external Consultants.
• Coordination of the elaboration of Issued For Construction Package with external Consultants.
