Employer of the Year Finalist: RAM – 2025 Business Distinction Awards

RAM is proud to announce it has been named a finalist in the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade’s 2025 Business Distinction Awards in the Employer of the Year category. This award, presented by the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade, recognizes a business that has invested in leading practices in the last 12-18 months that contribute to an overall positive workplace culture.
This recognition is a significant honor that highlights RAM’s success as a leading employer. Being selected as a finalist in this category reflects RAM’s core value and commitment to its people’s development, inclusive and supportive workplace, and community involvement. Over the past years, RAM has invested resources to key initiatives including :
Career Development and Continuing Education Programs – RAM supports the professional growth of all employees through a dedicated continuing education fund, internal training through the University of RAM, 360 Peer Reviews, and structured mentorship opportunities.
Employee Recognition and Awards – Employees are celebrated through annual peer nominated Presidential Awards, ongoing peer-to-peer recognition and celebration of achievements, and submission for relevant industry award.
Community Engagement and Charities – RAM is deeply engaged in communities where we work, fostering partnerships and support with Indigenous community, supporting impactful fundraising initiatives, and promoting grassroots STEM outreach. Charity drives and community initiatives are also often employee led.
Inclusive Culture and Employee Well-being – Supporting employee well-being on job sites is a top priority. We are committed to ensuring both physical and psychological safety at both our hybrid offices, and our project sites. We follow the BC Builders Code guidelines to create a harassment-free and inclusive workplace, where everyone feels respected and supported.
RAM fosters an award-winning inclusive culture through equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) initiatives, employee resource groups, comprehensive benefits, and team-building activities. RAM is proud to share that women represent 30% of its technical engineering team.

Winners of the 2025 Business Distinction Awards will be announced at a gala ceremony on October 30, 2025, at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel in Vancouver. RAM will join fellow finalists at the event and looks forward to the Greater Vancouver business community comes together to celebrate everyone’s achievements.
