Project Description
FortisBC provides electricity services for the Southern Interior region of B.C., with a 2021 pick demand above 760MW. In 2022, they contracted RAM to provide engineering support for upgrades to an electrical station located in Trail.
Our Role
RAM’s junior station engineer supported FortisBC’s Electric Network Assets Group and their development of the five-year station sustainment investment plan. Our responsibilities included:
- Developing scope of work and business case documents for the current and next Material Requirements Planning (MRP);
- Providing elaborate estimates according to AACE Cost Estimate Classification System;
- Updating internal planning and prioritization tools;
- Coordinating stakeholder meetings for project approvals, including documenting feedback.
