Project Description

Metro Vancouver’s Survey/Inspection Section is often involved in inspections of new construction of water and sewer infrastructure, as well as proximal inspection of existing facilities such as pipelines, chambers and pump stations. Metro Vancouver’s Water Services and Liquid Waste Services groups required inspection services from engineering consultants to inspect selected construction projects and proximal works on an as needed basis.

RAM’s Role

RAM was retained by Metro Vancouver to provide quality control/quality assurance inspection on work constructed by external contractors for small, medium and large construction projects. RAM’s inspectors provided inspection on works listed below, including but not limited to the following:

• Road widening
• Electrical conduit installation
• Excavation/bulk excavation
• Strom sewer installation
• Adjustments to Metro Vancouver appurtenances
