Project Description

Apex Utilities has engaged RAM to complete pipeline system engineering and drafting services for their Utility Stations which are in close proximity to the Edmonton area. The projects include detailed process, mechanical, and civil design drawings required for the Contractors to successfully build the infrastructure.
Typical project scopes include:

  • Major Equipment Replacements
  • Valve Repairs
  • Above Grade Piping Modifications
  • New Building Installations

RAM’s Role

RAM’s role is to complete pipeline system engineering and drafting services for the projects under the Engineering Service Agreement. RAM executes the projects using the Project Management, Engineering, and Drafting service departments to successfully deliver the projects with the following key deliverables:

  • IFR Drawing Package
  • IFC Drawing Package
  • 3D Model (AutoCAD Plant 3D)
  • MTO / BOM

Project Highlights

RAM provides value add to the projects by providing detailed engineering review of the drawings which limit drafting rework and ensures that project scope details and constraints are clarified with the client as early in the project as possible. By providing experienced mechanical/piping design reviews along with the typical drafting checks, the drawings are submitted with high quality.
