Kiyomi Le, P.Eng., PMP, promoted to Manager of Engineering at RAM

Calgary, AB – June 12, 2023 — RAM is pleased to announce the promotion of Kiyomi Le, P.Eng., PMP, to Manager of Engineering at RAM.

Kiyomi is RAM’s newly promoted Manager of Engineering. With over ten (10) years of experience working on various pipeline and municipal projects across Canada, she has worked on oil, natural gas, carbon dioxide and hydrogen pipelines in both urban and rural settings. Her areas of engineering expertise include pipeline construction drawings, pipeline design reports, and material requisitions and procurement including technical evaluations.

“In my new role as Manager of Engineering, I will continue to develop our engineering team and grow our engineering capabilities. I will be managing our engineering resources, including permits to practice, and internal documents. I will also be collaborating with other departments on pursuing new projects, managing resource fluctuations, and preparing estimates. One of the challenges I will face this year is managing my time between my team’s needs and existing client work. I will do my best to communicate with everyone and set expectations that I can meet.”

“I am so pleased to see Kiyomi step into this role as the leader of RAM’s Engineering team. She brings a strong technical background and a genuine leadership style that I am confident will inspire growth in our team and excellence in project delivery. RAM’s Engineering team will continue to focus on supporting major utilities and local municipalities specifically in civil, mechanical, geotechnical engineering and electrical distribution design,” Monique Lal, P.Eng., PMP, RAM’s Director of Project Delivery, said about Kiyomi’s promotion.

Kiyomi joined RAM in 2019 and has previously held the role of Project Manager.  When asked what she most enjoyed about working at RAM, she said, “The people here make it great company. I am motivated to do the best for my team because I have received so much support from my mentors and peers here.” Her best career advice is to “be flexible and accept new challenges as they come. Some of the best opportunities come out of difficult situations, even if they don’t turn out as expected.”

A fun fact about Kiyomi is that she loves gardening. “I especially like growing spicy peppers. In the past I’ve tried Trinidad scorpions and habaneros. Unfortunately, this year, none of my seedlings survived!”
