Project Description

Pauquachin First Nation (PFN) is currently in the early stages for the Legacy Gathering Space Project (LGSP), a multidiscipline construction project located in the community. RAM is providing full project delivery services for the project including project management, construction management, safety services, quality oversight, and procurement.

The Project consists of the construction of two Mass Timber buildings: the Band Hall and Long House. Both the Band Hall and Long House will be able to accommodate up to 400 individuals to cater to the population of the Nation. The Long House, built in a traditional style, will be utilized for ceremonial activities and the Band Hall, will offer various services and dining amenities to the occupants of the Long House. Additionally, the Band Hall will also act as a shelter in case of any natural calamity, providing refuge to the entire community.

RAM’s Role

RAM’s role consists of, but not limited to:

  • Writing and issuing RFPs for each subcontractor scope. Evaluation proposals and providing recommendations to award to the client.
  • Developing and managing the budget and schedule.
  • Providing technical oversight for Mass Timber coordination and installation
  • Providing on site construction management to ensure quality and safety requirements are met and the design is followed
  • Lead coordination meetings with the design teams and contractors
