Project Description
The City of Victoria (the City) has recently been audited by Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC) for an EGBC Permit to Practice Initial Compliant Audit. As a qualified services provider to the City.
RAM’s Role
RAM, was retained to:
- Review entire Audit Report and associated documents.
- Review the Corrective Action Requests (CAR’s) as identified by EGBC and support development of appropriate compliance per EGBC recommendations and requirements.
- Review the Opportunity for Improvement (OFI) as identified by EGBC and support development of appropriate policy and procedures.
- Update the City’s Professional Practice Management Plan (PPMP) to incorporate all changes identified by EGBC’s audit.
- Develop a training plan and procedure for the City to support ongoing development of the PPMP.
- Provide initial training to the City’s Engineering roster, including development of training materials for City’s use and updates on an ongoing basis.
- Optional – Evaluate the work carried out by the Public Works Department, encompassing construction, operations, and maintenance of both surface and underground infrastructure, as well as emergency response procedures.
